Skaneateles does Christmas right!!! The 2024 Dickens Christmas in Skaneateles, NY starts the Friday after Thanksgiving and then runs every Saturday and Sunday from Thanksgiving through December 24. The Dickens Christmas festivities attract more than 20,000 visitors to the Skaneateles each year. Skaneateles is located on Route 20 in Central New York between Syracuse and Rochester.

Join Christmas Carolers and dancers, listen to live music by bagpipers and a brass band, and enjoy special events as the streets of downtown Skaneateles transform into a winter wonderland straight out of Dicken’s novel A Christmas Carol. Every weekend between Thanksgiving and Christmas, actors playing Charles Dickens’ characters will roam the village singing and interacting with residents and visitors in the streets, stores and restaurants.
