43rd Annual Canandaigua Lake Trout Derby
June 1 & June 2, 2024 on Canandaigua Lake
We have terrific lake trout fishing in the Finger Lakes! Anglers from across the region fish for the biggest lake trout, rainbow trout and brown trout to compete for prizes and try to land the trophy fish at The 2024 Lake Trout Derby on Canandaigua Lake in the Finger Lakes of New York.

Fishing Times: June 1 (5am to 5pm) and June 2 (5am to 4pm).
Weigh stations are located on Canandaigua Lake at the North End – Canandaigua Country Club, and the South End – Sawmill Restaurant – Route 21 Woodville, NY. Awards Ceremony to follow at 5:00pm Sunday at Sawmill Restaurant/Field’s Construction, Inc., Woodville, NY.
Entry Fee: $25 (increases to $30 on May 16th)

Grand Prizes:
Any Trout Species: $1000 for first place, $750 for second place and $500 for third.
Division Awards:
Largest Lake Trout
$200 for first place, $100 for second place and $50 for third.
Largest Brown Trout
$200 for first place, $100 for second place and $50 for third.
Largest Rainbow Trout
$200 for first place, $100 for second place and $50 for third.
