Located on the northern shore of Canandaigua Lake, the New York Wine Culinary Center provides continuously new and unique ways to experience the bounty of New York State through their casual dining atmosphere in the Taste of NY Restaurant. Guests can try a flight of NYS wine & beer, discover a unique gift in the Food Arts Culinary Boutique or enroll in a variety of classes in the Viking Range Hands-On Kitchen.
The NY Wine & Culinary Center opened 4 years ago to rave reviews of its wine tasting and dining experiences. From sampling some of the best wines (over two hundred varieties!) belonging to wineries across the state or attending a lecture by a celebrity chef, there’s a lot to do at the New York Wine and Culinary Center.
With a mission to propagate and provide information on agriculture, wine and food of New York State, this non-profit organization welcomes visitors for classes, lectures, demonstrations, tastings and more. A garden, an exhibition hall, a theatre, a lounge and a gift boutique are all on site. Foodies can come and partake in interesting classes like “Food and Beer Pairing”, “Sensational Side Dishes” and much more.
In the Sip Tasting Room, guest tourists can sip and sample wine, beer and spirits from the many wineries, breweries and distilleries in New York State. Here you are able to learn about the wine, beer and spirits of New York State, whether you’re a novice or an expert, as the knowledgeable staff guides you through your tasting.
The Taste of New York Lounge and Resturant complements our extensive wine and beer list. Located on the second floor of the Center, visitors can enjoy a unique dining experience featuring products from New York State.
The Center serves lunch and dinner daily, as well as wine and beer from throughout New York State. There are cooking classes, demonstrations, and educational classes on a variety of topics, and special events are held throughout the year.
The New York Wine & Culinary Center offers a diverse experience for every visitor. Visitors can sample and purchase wine and craft beer from New York State, and even purchase New York State spirits.
The Gift Shop also offers a variety of products, including New York State foods and handcrafted specialty items, culinary tools, wine accessories, clothing, and books of every sort!
